My first ever highland games and what a games they were!!! Pipe bands ,clan chiefs,medieval knights, world famous strong men wow!! and hundreds of malls. The scottish people are so friendly and welcoming. I met the drummers and i am bringing my family back next year. This was very well run and i cant wait for next years . Well done guys Mo x

Name: craig calderwood E-mail: craigcalderwood@yahoo.co.uk Date posted: June 14, 2009 - 11:04 pm Message: I probably had one of the best days out iv'e had in a long long time today but the one real dampner was as a participating athlete in the hill race, how completely unorganised and difficult the course was to follow. I understand the course does have several possible routes to follow but with really poor markings and a lack of direction in general myself and several other runners got lost a minimum of 3 times en-route and returning, to be honest i doubt i'd actually win the race but it took about 10 minutes out of runners trying to navigate through various forks and turns that had no clear markings. But to finish on a brighter note as i said, the whole event otherwise was a credit to the area.
